SUMMARY:Practical Project Management
DESCRIPTION:This course focuses on the key essentials for successful project management. It introduces a unique\, simplified approach that maintains the rigour required to achieve all project deliverables. The training is underpinned with a continuous quality improvement philosophy that targets value-added activity\, maximizes time and resources utilization\, while minimizing risks. \nUpon completion of this course\, participants will be able to: \n\nIdentify the key phases of project management and the deliverables associated with each phase\nEstablish the appropriate oversight for future projects\nIdentify the triple constraints of a project and when they occur\nIdentify project risks and manage issues throughout the project life cycle\nIdentify stakeholders and utilize techniques to align the project team and engage others when appropriate\nUtilize techniques to navigate projects through to successful completion\n\nKey Topics: \n\nThe Project lifecycle overview\nKey components of project management\nTheory of triple constraints\nIdentifying value and aligning deliverables\nEngaging stakeholders\nKeeping a project on track\nTrack and learn\n\nDates: Tuesday March 25th and Wednesday 26th\, 2025; 9:00am – 12:30pm. \nFees: \n\nParticipating Organizations\, Reviewers and Partners: $375 per person+ HST+ Eventbrite fees\nGeneral participants:  $425 per person +HST+ Eventbrite fees\nSite training for Participating Organizations & Partners (minimum of 12 registrants): $325 per person + HST\nSite training for General Participants (minimum of 12 registrants): $375 per person + HST\n\nAvailable Discounts: \n\nGroups of 5 or more are eligible for a 50% discount on the 6th registration.\nIndividuals who register for both Practical Change Management and Practical Project Management are eligible for an overall 15% discount.\nPlease note: discounts cannot be combined.\n\nTo take advantage of the discounts and site trainings\, contact us at ea@canadiancentreforaccreditation.ca \nIndividuals can register for individual workshops online at HERE. \nRefunds & Cancellation Policy  \nRefunds \n\nFull refunds (minus Eventbrite fees) are available for cancellations made at least 5 business days before the session start date.\nNo refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 5 days in advance.\nIf a cancellation affects the eligibility for a group or bulk discount\, the discount may be deducted from the refund.\n\nReplacements: \n\nReplacements are allowed if requested at least 2 business days before the session’s start date.\nThe replacement participant must meet any session prerequisites or requirements.\n\nDeferrals: Deferrals to future sessions will not be permitted.
