SUMMARY:Lean Yellow Belt in Quality Improvement
DESCRIPTION:This workshop builds on White Belt training to provide an overview of the core principles of Lean quality improvement (QI); differentiate between Lean and Six Sigma and outline the essential tools and practices that can be applied across the community health and social services sector to increase service delivery efficiency and quality; improve client and employee satisfaction and reduce waste. \nIt aims to create a basic proficiency in applying key tools and practices such as process mapping; standard work and 5S workplace organization to make small improvements in community health and social service settings. \nParticipants will gain an internationally recognized Yellow Belt certification through the successful completion of a 1-hour exam. \nDates: Wednesday May 28th and Thursday May 29th 2025; 9:00am – 12:30pm. \nFees: \n\nParticipating Organizations\, Reviewers and Partners: $375 per person+HST+ Eventbrite fees\nGeneral participants:  $425 per person +HST+ Eventbrite fees\n\nAvailable Discounts: \n\nGroups of 5 or more are eligible for a 50% discount on the 6th registration!\nIndividuals who register for all 3 Lean White\, Yellow and Green trainings are eligible for an overall 15%\nPlease note: discounts cannot be combined.\n\nIndividuals can register for individual workshops online at HERE. \nTo take advantage of one of the available discounts\, contact us at ea@canadiancentreforaccreditation.ca \nRefunds & Cancellation Policy  \nRefunds \n\nFull refunds (minus Eventbrite fees) are available for cancellations made at least 5 business days before the session start date.\nNo refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 5 days in advance.\nIf a cancellation affects the eligibility for a group or bulk discount\, the discount may be deducted from the refund.\n\nReplacements: \n\nReplacements are allowed if requested at least 2 business days before the session’s start date.\nThe replacement participant must meet any session prerequisites or requirements.\n\nDeferrals: Deferrals to future sessions will not be permitted.
