SUMMARY:Lean Green Belt in Quality Improvement
DESCRIPTION:Having taken White and Yellow Belt training\, you will develop an in-depth understanding of those essential Lean tools and practices that can be applied in community health and social services settings to increase efficiency and quality of service; improve access to services; increase capacity; improve satisfaction among staff and community and create an ongoing culture of continuous quality improvement. The Green Belt program will develop the capability and skills to lead improvement initiatives within your organization. \nThe program enables immediate application and benefit through a requirement to complete a workplace improvement project. This ‘apply-it now’ approach can generate tangible benefits for your organization. \nAs well as live instructor-led training\, participants receive access to a subject matter expert mentor throughout the program. Our mentors have significant experience supporting community health and social services organizations and will provide guidance on all aspects of the program – subject matter queries\, project scoping and execution. \nThis program will be delivered over six (6) live online instructor-led sessions as follows: \n\nWeek 1: November 23rd\,  24th and 25th\, 2026; 1:00pm to 4:30pm Eastern (3 x 3.5-hour sessions)\nWeek 2: November 30th\,  December 1st and 2nd \, 2026; 1:00pm to 4:30pm Eastern (3 x 3.5-hour sessions)\n\nPrerequisite: Lean Yellow Belt Certification \nKey Topics: \n\nWhy Lean in community health and social services\nProject identification and selection\nLean Green Belt project essentials\nEvaluation of current state/value stream mapping analysis\nStakeholder engagement tools\nLean tools to improve flow\nLean tools to reduce variation\nTransforming to future state\nManaging change\nLean leadership\n\nFees: \n\nParticipating Organizations\, Reviewers and Partners: $1750 per person+ HST+ Eventbrite fees\nGeneral participants:  $2000 per person+ HST+ Eventbrite fees\n\nAvailable Discounts: \n\nIndividuals who register 1 at full price\, get the 2nd at 25% off\nIndividuals who register for all 3 Lean White\, Yellow and Green trainings are eligible for an overall 15%\nPlease note: discounts cannot be combined.\n\nREGISTRATION: Individuals can register for individual workshops online at HERE. \nTo take advantage of one of the available discounts\, contact us at info@canadiancentreforaccreditation.ca. \nRefunds & Cancellation Policy  \nRefunds \n\nFull refunds (minus Eventbrite fees) are available for cancellations made at least 5 business days before the session start date.\nNo refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 5 days in advance.\nIf a cancellation affects the eligibility for a group or bulk discount\, the discount may be deducted from the refund.\n\nReplacements: \n\nReplacements are allowed if requested at least 2 business days before the session’s start date.\nThe replacement participant must meet any session prerequisites or requirements.\n\nDeferrals: Deferrals to future sessions will not be permitted.
