Lean Green Belt in Quality Improvement

Having taken White and Yellow Belt training, you will develop an in-depth understanding of those essential Lean tools and practices that can be applied in community health and social services settings to increase efficiency and quality of service; improve access to services; increase capacity; improve satisfaction among staff and community and create an ongoing culture of continuous quality improvement. The Green Belt program will develop the capability and skills to lead improvement initiatives within your organization.

The program enables immediate application and benefit through a requirement to complete a workplace improvement project. This ‘apply-it now’ approach can generate tangible benefits for your organization.

As well as live instructor-led training, participants receive access to a subject matter expert mentor throughout the program. Our mentors have significant experience supporting community health and social services organizations and will provide guidance on all aspects of the program – subject matter queries, project scoping and execution.

This program will be delivered over six (6) live online instructor-led sessions as follows:

• Week 1: October 21st, 22nd and 23rd 2025; 9:00AM to 12:30PM Eastern (3 x 3.5-hour sessions)
• Week 2: October 28th, 29th and 30th 2025; 9:00AM to 12:30PM Eastern (3 x 3.5-hour sessions)

Prerequisite: Lean Yellow Belt Certification

Fees:

• Participating Organizations, Reviewers and Partners: $1750 per person+ HST+ Eventbrite fees
• General participants:  $2000 per person+ HST+ Eventbrite fees

• Individuals who register 1 at full price, get the 2nd at 25% off
• Individuals who register for all 3 Lean White, Yellow and Green trainings are eligible for an overall 15%
• Please note: discounts cannot be combined.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy 

Refunds

• Full refunds (minus Eventbrite fees) are available for cancellations made at least 5 business days before the session start date.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 5 days in advance.
• If a cancellation affects the eligibility for a group or bulk discount, the discount may be deducted from the refund.

Replacements:

• Replacements are allowed if requested at least 2 business days before the session’s start date.
• The replacement participant must meet any session prerequisites or requirements.

Deferrals: Deferrals to future sessions will not be permitted.
