It is with great pleasure that the Canadian Centre for Accreditation is announcing the addition of Maria Friis to our staff as an Accreditation Specialist.
Maria joined the team on March 21, 2022. She comes with experience in quality improvement, evaluation, policy, strategy, regional planning, LEAN training and group facilitation. In addition, she has many years of initiating and running programs in community services for children and youth, shelters, housing, mental health and addiction and with other equity-focused partnerships and interdisciplinary teams in both urban and remote services and contexts.
Maria also brings enthusiasm, confidence, humility and leadership to her role and we have no doubt CCA’s participating organizations, review teams and partners will benefit from her vast experience, gentle and incisive decision-making and commitment to the communities and populations with whom we all work.
